Brazen
Bomber (Bomber)
2000 | 16.3h Thoroughbred gelding
By Bombardier out of Something Brazen
Owned and ridden by Kelley Williams
Currently
competing at the Intermediate level, Bomber
is truly a lovely horse, both physically and
mentally. With the help of Todd Bryan and
Sharon White, Bomber has developed into a
powerful horse with serious upper level
potential. His strength continues to develop
with each passing season and Kelley is very
excited about his prospects … stay tuned!

Rumbling
Storm (Rumble)
2002 | 16.1h Thoroughbred gelding
Owned by A Bit Better Farm, Ridden by Kelley
Williams
This horse
is going to be a powerhouse! Since coming
to A Bit Better Farm as a 4 year old, Rumble
has proved to be a fantastic and exciting
jumper. His greenness is overpowered by his
desire to do his job. Rumble has dabbled in
eventing while getting more training under
his belt. He is poised to take the event
world by storm in 2009, so watch out!
Rumble is currently being offered for sale. |

Elegantly
Yours (Gulliver)
1990 | 16.3h Thoroughbred gelding
By Weshaam out of Exclusively Yours
Owned by Pat Mansfield
After
competing at the Intermediate level,
Gulliver is currently retired from upper
level eventing and is ridden by Kelley’s
students. He successfully helped one young
rider do her first Preliminary. Gulliver is
totally happy in his new role of
schoolmaster. |

Copper
Castle (Cuffy)
1993 | 16.1h Thoroughbred gelding
By Coppabarb out of Princess Castle
Owned by Kelley Williams
Cuffy is
definitely the character of the barn. He
has a definite opinion about everything and
how it should be done. After starting his
career with Kelley as a somewhat difficult
partner, he really blossomed and got better
with age. After competing at the
Intermediate level, Cuffy is currently
enjoying life with one of Kelley’s
students. Still the most opinionated horse
on the farm, he thinks his new job is just
perfect. After all, he is quite sure he has
a lot to teach everyone. |

Shall We
Dance (Darby)
1988 | 15.1h Connemara/Thoroughbred gelding
Owned by Pat Mansfield
Darby is the
horse every adult amateur should own. He
has taught Pat from the very beginning and
has taken extremely good care of her right
up through competing at the CCI* level.
Moving on from “D” has been incredibly
difficult for Pat. Although the right thing
to do, it’s made her appreciate how truly
wonderful Darby is. At 21 years young,
Darby is currently being leased by one of
Kelley’s students and still rocking it at
Novice. |

Rip’s
Shoo Fly Pie (Shoo)
1990 | 15.3h Thoroughbred mare
Owned by Kelley Williams
Without a
doubt Shoo is the queen of A Bit Better
Farm. Being the stereotypical Thoroughbred
mare, Shoo is sure to let you know what she
thinks! This special mare holds the
distinction of taking Kelley to her first
CCI* and introducing her to upper level
competition. After a second CCI*, Shoo went
on to teach several young riders the ropes
at the lower levels. Never one to show her
age, Shoo still makes her riders work for
their clear rounds. |

Red Dee
to Pleasure (Flirt)
1988 | 15.2h Quarter Horse gelding
Owned and ridden by Ray Mansfield
Flirt is
everything a Quarter Horse should be, kind,
patient, and steady. He absolutely loves
children and is sometimes enlisted to give
pony rides to visiting grandchildren. When
his owner isn’t busy working around the
farm, Flirt likes to hit the trails. If you
ever want to see a horse smile, check out
Flirt when he’s heading out to Rachel Carson
Park. |

Frozen
Flight (Frosty)
1996 | 16h Thoroughbred gelding
Owned by Danny Williams
If Cuffy is
the character of the barn, Frosty is the
steady eddy. His calm demeanor makes him
the perfect babysitter, whether it be for
new horses, recovering horses, or newly
weaned babies. When Frosty’s not being
pestered by his pasturemates, he likes to
hit the trails or go to local shows. If you
listen closely, he’ll tell you about his
days at the racetrack where he earned more
than $200,000! |

Jimbo
****IN MEMORIUM****
Unknown | pony gelding
Owned and loved and MISSED by Jona and Tate Williams
Without a
doubt, Jimbo owned A Bit Better Farm. Since
his arrival a few years ago, he made it
clear that he was a force to be reckoned
with. He was a great babysitter for Jona and
Tate, being patient and kind as he had with
so many children before them. While a
perfect gentleman for the younger crowd, you
could often find Jimbo dragging his adult
friends from pasture to barn and back again
every day, AND he truly was the consummate
escape artist, never missing an opportunity
to get to greener pastures. He will be
greatly missed by everyone at A Bit Better
Farm, as well as many other pony clubbers in
the community, but we take comfort in
knowing he is now running things on the
greenest pastures imaginable. |
